Thank you for your interest in adopting this great pet! I fell head over heels for mack the first time I saw him, he is SO.SWEET. He holds his front paw up & makes a petting motion with it when you approach his kennel & he is the biggest love bug, tummy rubs are his very favorite thing, hugs are a close second! Unfortunately, he has tested positive for heartworm. We keep them on monthly heartworm preventative to keep his condition from worsening, we have a local vet that will treat him but he needs a home to recover in. (they need to be kept calm & quiet during the recovery process) He loves people & most dogs. Dominant male dogs are not his favorite & he does need a cat free household. We always recommend a refresher course on house & crate training for all of our dogs as well as a meet n greet with all household members (2 legged & 4) to ensure a perfect match.
